The company’s Internet of Vehicles project involves installation of national standards and ministry standards conforming vehicle-mounted information terminals, including automobile travel recorder, vehicle-mounted information center and Beidou satellite positioning system on operation vehicles in provincial level areas, such as coaches, hazardous products and chemical transport vehicles, urban bus, taxi, goods transport vehicles, law enforcement vehicles, public affair vehicles and ships, so as to meet the needs of government administrations for vehicle monitoring and control, the needs of transportation enterprises for operation management and the needs of vehicles owners during driving by means of a data center and a background service platform.

Features

This project will realize real-time monitoring and control of operation vehicles in provincial level areas, realize province-wide application of Beidou satellite positioning technology and lay a foundation for basic industrial application of the Internet of Things in intelligent cities.

1. Services for government administrations: Improving the overall management level of government organs over operation vehicles and providing more scientific reference for operation management, traffic law enforcement, safe production, planning and decision making.

2. Services for enterprises: Remarkably improving the management level of logistic enterprises and vehicle involved service enterprises.

Technological advantages (functional benefits)

1.In terms of information collection, the JL901 series vehicle-mounted terminals developed by the company are used to collect position information, vehicle information and driving information.

2.In terms of information transmission, the mature 3G/2G communication network of telecommunication service providers are used to transmit on real-time basis the information collected by the terminals to the data center.

3.In terms of information application, the Internet of Vehicles background platform (consisting of data center and application platform) developed and managed by the company itself is used to provide services for government, enterprises and drivers.
